Richard graduated from Taliesin with a Master of Architecture in 2019. Since then he has lived in Berlin, Basel, New York, Los Angeles, Shenzhen, and Rotterdam. His work experience includes Morphosis, MVRDV, Herzog & de Meuron, and Sauerbruch Hutton. In 2023 Richard accepted a professor of architecture position at the International Program in Design and Architecture at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. He currently lives in Bangkok where he is a founding partner and principal of LaNa West.

Jan is a founding partner and principal of LaNa West. He received his Master of Architecture from the School of Architecture at Taliesin in 2019. His professional experience includes work with UNStudio in Amsterdam and design and construction projects in the Pacific Northwest, where he has built and remodeled residential projects. Jan has lived in Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and Paris, and currently resides in the Seattle area, where he leads LaNa West’s creative and strategic direction.

Lalita is one of the founders of LaNa West. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) in 2015, majoring in International Economics. She specializes in global economic principles and cross-border business, she brings both strategic insight and creative vision to LaNa West, bridging international ideas with local needs. Based in Bangkok, she has previous experience working in the risk department of one of Thailand’s top five securities brokerage firms.

Idea graduated with an architecture degree from Chulalongkorn University. During her studies, she explored projects ranging from architectural designs to various physical installations. She often works intuitively, finding balance between concept, form, and feeling. Idea currently lives in Bangkok, where she is continuing to refine her approach to architecture at LaNa West.

Kenny is a third-year student in the International Program in Design and Architecture. He is actively engaged in creating 3D model houses and developing display modes with LaNa West simultaneously. Kenny's passion lies in exploring innovative methods and functions to enhance rhino 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization workflows.

Nuan is a design and architecture student at Chulalongkorn University. She is focused on 3D modeling and rendering, with a keen interest in exploring innovative visualization methods in architecture. Beyond digital design, Nuan also enjoys experimenting with new forms of art and crafts, blending creativity and technique in her design process.

LaNa West is a Bangkok-based team of architects, designers, economists, filmmakers, gardeners, and historians. Our approach is born from the idea of "East meets West," which is reflected in our global team. We research, honor, and carry traditional Thai heritage into the modern world with a western perspective.

Our methodology echoes a time when Thailand was called Siam, and for hundreds of years served as a nucleus for trade and culture throughout all of Southeast Asia. From the ancient kingdoms of Lanna, Sukothai, Thonburi, and Ayutthaya; to present-day Bangkok, this region has always been defined by an intense mixture of peoples, foods, and beliefs. This incredible history produced one of the most energetic and fascinating cities in the world. Bangkok.
